Nestled in the beautiful North Norfolk coastline, The Maltings is a newly created hotel and restaurant undergoing a complete transformation. Part of the Chestnut Group and standing as their flagship ‘Big House’, the reimagining of The Maltings blended its unique heritage with contemporary charm, creating a space that is both welcoming and refined.

Working with content agency Mevyn Group, we created a fresh brand identity that spoke to the Norfolk coastline alongside an immersive digital presence, every detail through the project was crafted to reflect The Maltings’ character. The website captures its story, as users journey through showcasing stunning photography that highlights the venue’s atmosphere, culinary craftsmanship, and stunning coastal surroundings.

Alongside the new brand and website, Studio1440 created a selection of marketing collateral including menus, signage, magazine adverts, and bespoke campaign material, to ensure a seamless brand experience both online and in person. Carefully curated content and storytelling brought The Maltings’ new vision to life, and we commissioned world famous photographer David Loftus, to capture the essence of the redefined space.

This project was more than a new launch; it was a reinvention of what Chestnut Group has done before, designed to position The Maltings as a must-visit destination for both locals and visitors seeking exceptional food, hospitality, and atmosphere.
